1. What This Website Is

This private reference site is independent of every government office. It does not store or retrieve official records, conduct official background checks, or submit documents for a visitor.

Its function is to identify Montague County custodians, including the Sheriff, criminal courts, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry, while also providing access to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of use, you must not:

• Use site content to stalk, threaten, or harass a person
• Violate any applicable federal, Texas, or local law
• Use the content for hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
• Attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems
• Operate bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools against these pages
• Disrupt site performance or interfere with access by other visitors

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use information from this website or a linked tool to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may also be criminal. Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62 and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry warning govern registry use. That information supports public-safety awareness, not vigilantism or unlawful exclusion.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks. Our advertising partners and this site do not offer tools designed to assess applicants, rental applications, insurance risk, or creditworthiness.
